The City has undertaken a complete review of the condition of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Turkey Creek. The report describes the history of the facility, how the process works and what can be done to make the plant function at a higher level. The report includes recommendations for changes to the treatment process, particularly with the anaerobic digesters. There are also recommendations for rehabilitation of the electrical systems and back-up power.
In addition to this assessment of the plant, the report includes a recent odor assessment conducted at the plant to determine what areas might be modified to reduce odor generation.
