Anthony W. “Tony” Cox
The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council
for an indefinite term.  He is required to attend all Council
meetings as the City’s official representative,
but he does not cast a vote.

The Administrator’s Function is to:

Maintain a friendly, efficient, orderly and business-like administration.
Serve as the chief of day to day operations;
Enforce all laws, rules and regulations passed by the City Council;
Appoint, promote and transfer all non-civil-service employees;
Direct and control all department activities;
Prepare the annual City budget;
Responsible for official records, property titles, contracts, agreements;
Advise the Council on a recommended course of action.
