Brush Collection

Brush is defined as any trimmings from bushes or trees and should not contain trash, grass or dirt. These trucks do not pick up on a scheduled day; the volume of brush along the routes determines the schedule. Certain times of the year the volume will be heavier than others and result in longer periods between service. You may call the Public Works Department for an approximate time trucks will be in your neighborhood (585-4658). Brush generated from any work done by a professional contractor or tree/lawn service should not be placed at curbside for pick up. They are responsible for transporting the brush to the landfill.

We hope this information is helpful. Please call the Public Works Department if you have any questions about our services. Contact us at 585-4658 during the hours of 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday –Friday.
