The boundaries for the Crossroads Development District include all areas currently zoned Central Business District (CBD) as well as some adjacent areas currently undergoing redevelopment or of particular historic significance. This area includes the Hamblen County Courthouse, Rose Center and the Henry Street Post Office, all listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 'Crossroads' was chosen as the name of this district and program because the area remains a literal crossroads for our community to this day and reflects the diverse interests and activities it is home to. The District is divided into five distinct neighborhoods: Downtown Core, West North Area, City Center Area, East Main Area, and Morris Blvd. Area. Please see: Neighborhoods Map.pdf
