A mission of the Crossroads Development Partnership is to encourage downtown development by offering programs and incentives that may include rehabilitation grants, special financing packages, design assistance, etc. However, these programs are still under development. Please contact the Program Director or a Crossroads board member for further information.

 

Staff is available to meet onsite and on a confidential, pre-development level. Meetings with the City Administrator, Chief Building Official, Fire Marshall, city staff inspectors and engineers, and other key contacts can be arranged to help simplify the development process.

Request for Proposals

The City of Morristown recently issued a request for proposals to develop the farmer's market site downtown. To date, a project selection has not been made and proposals are still being accepted for consideration. The project should compliment the downtown area in design and scope and would preferably mix retail, dining, and residential. The original RFP may be viewed below:
