The purpose and objective of the City of Morristown Parks and Recreation Department is to provide year round wholesome leisure activities for all ages, neighborhoods and walks of life. The Parks and Recreation staff believes that a recreation and parks program should create a feeling of pride, a sense of worth, a picture of beauty, a sense of belonging, satisfaction of accomplishment, and the challenge of developing skills and abilities while providing the opportunity to grow both physically and mentally in an abundant and meaningful community life.
