Litter II
The Litter Crew was started in September 2012. It was created in an effort to beautify Morristown’s city limits. Officer Jonathan Maxey takes prisoners from the Hamblen County Jail that are eligible for work release, and takes them to areas around Morristown that need to be cleaned up.

In 2016, the litter crew worked 1,525 hours and picked up approximately 56,280 pounds of trash in the community. They also picked up 5,818 pounds of miscellaneous trash (that did not fit into bags) and washed 615 City vehicles.
