The City of Morristown provides one 90 gallon sanitation cart per single household and one per two units in multi-dwelling complexes. Residents/owners may purchase an additional cart. Service is provided once each week on a regular scheduled day. These carts are provided for household garbage only and should not be overfilled. Any debris outside of the cart will not be picked up by this service. Carts should not be moved to other locations unless purchased. The following items should not be placed in your cart: liquids, paints, solvents, hazardous materials, dead animals or car parts.

To prevent vandalism please place carts at the curb by 7:30 am on the day of service. Please do not leave carts at the curb overnight.
All refuse must be in the cart. Refuse stacked on the cart or outside the cart may not be collected.
Please remove carts from the curb at the end of the service day. To secure the cart place it adjacent to your home or place of business.
For public health and cleanliness periodically wash the cart. Your sanitation workers appreciate it.
Damaged or stolen carts should be reported to the phone number below.
