The Morristown Fire Department Clowns formed in early 2001 as a way to educate citizens about fire safety in a manner that is both fun and entertaining. Although our ultimate goal is to educate every citizen of Morristown, clowns offer a more effective way of educating children.

The clowns teach personal safety practices, as well as home and environmental safety utilizing such techniques as magic tricks, balloon animals and skits.

The Morristown Fire Department Clowns was honored to be special guests at the TN Public Life and Safety Educators meeting held in Morristown.

This entertaining group of firefighters is led into action by Dr/Eng Tim “Noz-L” Carpenter, who has over 7 years clowning experience. Carpenter has attended 40 hours of clown college established by State of Florida Fire School Instructors, also has attended Clown Judging Seminar and has taken 2 top honor spots at clown competitions.
