The Morristown Fire Department consists of 84 response personnel, 7 staff members and one administrative assistant. The department provides fire protection, emergency medical first response, a fire inspection and codes enforcement office, hazardous material response, as well as various other teams and programs designed to protect and inform a population of approximately 25,000. The department presently operates 6 engines, 1 aerial device, 1 rescue unit, and one Battalion Chief out of 6 stations serving an area of approximately 22 square miles. The department also maintains several apparatuses in reserve.

The department maintains an ISO Rating of a Class 3, which in-turn lowers the insurance premiums within the city limits.

The department participates in the State of Tennessee Fire Accreditation Program and the National Fire Incident Reporting System

• Station 6 is located at 5020 S. Davy Crockett Pkwy.
