CORPORATION OF MORRISTOWN
MARCH 29, 2005

The Beer Board (City Council) of the City of Morristown, Hamblen County, Tennessee, met in a called session at the regular meeting place of the Council in the Morristown City Center at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2005 with Honorable Mayor Gary R. Johnson presiding and the following named Councilmembers present: Claude Jinks, Frank McGuffin, William Rooney, Kay Senter and William Thompson. Absent: Councilmember Rick Trent.

Councilmember Thompson made a motion to impose a thirty (30) day suspension of the Beer License, or a Civil Penalty of $1,500, payable within seven (7) days, for each violation against the following establishments cited for under age sale of beer. Councilmember Rooney seconded the motion and upon roll call, Councilmembers Jinks, Rooney, Senter, Thompson and Mayor Johnson voted 'aye'; Councilmember McGuffin voted 'no'.

Councilmember Jinks made a motion to waive sanctions against the establishments cited for not wearing their Server I.D. Tags. Councilmember Thompson seconded the motion and upon roll call, all voted 'aye'.

Mayor Johnson adjourned the March 29, 2005 Beer Board (City Council) Meeting.
