The Support Services Division is supervised by Lieutenant Charles Letterman. In addition, Captain Chris Wisecarver and Major Michelle Jones supervise day to day Support Services operations. The division is responsible for specialized enforcement activities, crime prevention, and community policing programs, and homeland security issues
Inclusive to the everyday police operations, the Support Services Division participates in numerous specialized enforcement areas. Officers are often utilized in specific areas throughout the city limits of Morristown where additional attention is needed to deter or decrease thefts, burglaries, accidents and property crimes.
Periodically officers with the Support Services Division participate in a sobriety checkpoint.
In addition to these specialized assignments outside each officer's everyday police functions, each officer involves themselves in community requested events. These officers continuously assist civic and professional groups through education and safety awareness programs. The Support Services Division is responsible for specialized enforcement activities, crime prevention and community policing programs.
