Lighting of the City Christmas Tree - Nov 29, 2016

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

City Center Rotunda

Tuesday, November 29, 2016

6:00 p.m.

Families are invited to come and help us kickoff the Christmas Season with the official lighting of the City Christmas Tree. The ceremony will begin with a welcome from Mayor Gary Chesney, followed by Christmas music provided by the First United Methodist Church Hand Bell Choir and East Ridge / Meadowview Middle School Choir. Santa will read a Christmas story and lead us to the tree lighting.

Children ages 12 and under can help decorate the City Center for the Holidays by printing off the picture of the City Center and using crayons, markers, or colored pencils to “decorate” the City Center. Bring your picture to the Tree lighting to be entered in the decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded for each age group.

Parents, please write your child’s name and age on front. For more information call 423-586-0260.
