  • Public access to fires stations is Closed.
  • Car Seat installation checks have been suspended at this time.
  • CPR classes are not being offered at this time.

Crash Reports:

  • For accidents that you were involved in that are filed with the MPD, email crashreports@mymorristown.com with the following information:
    • Copy or photo of your driver’s license or ID
    • Date of the crash
    • Case number (if you have it)
    • Last name of the driver involved
  • Crash reports may also be purchased online through the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security through their portal at www.PurchaseTNcrash.gov .

PLANNING/ZONING/CODES ENFORCEMENT (423)585-4620

  • Zoning verification letter request can be made via email to planning@mymorristown.com. After your request has been received, staff will prepare letter and email it back to you for your records. 
  • Home occupation applications can be obtained online HERE. Applications should be emailed to planning@mymorristown.com. After your request has been received and approved by a city planner, we will email it back to you for your records. 


INSPECTIONS

  • Permit applications can be obtained online HERE and emailed to inspections@mymorristown.com
  • After your permit has been received and approved by the inspector, we will email it back to you for a signature and then please return to us for our records. Payment for permits can be made via phone to the cashier's office at (423)585-4607

  • Parks & Recreation activities are being revised to comply with CDC guidelines.

PARKS & FACILITIES

  • City parks, including playgrounds, ball fields, trails and courts are open. Users assume all risks associated with use.
  • Talley Ward Recreation Center has reopened to the public. Posted guidelines shall be followed.

  • The Morristown Regional Airport terminal building has been reopened to the public for official business only.  The airport is still operational and continues to provide service to the City of Morristown and the aviation community.
