On Thursday, December 3, 2015, Nichole Maree Blissit was arrested and taken to the Hamblen County Jail for two counts of Possession of Schedule VI for Resale.

Agents of the MPD Narcotics/Vice division received information, on December 1, 2015, that a package was being delivered to Ms. Blissit that contained illegal drugs.

 After a successful delivery, Narcotics/Vice detectives executed a search warrant for the apartment.  During the search, drug paraphernalia and five grams of Hashish were discovered.  Detective Captain Chris Blair stated that Hashish is not common in our area. The street value of the drugs is $4,000.00 per pound for the marijuana and $800.00 per ounce of Hashish.

Blissit was still in the Hamblen County Jail with a bond of $10,000.00 at 9:30 am, on December 4, 2015.
