MPD Media Release- Drug Search Warrant

Two individuals have been arrested and charged with drug violations after narcotics and vice agents with the Morristown Police Department executed a search warrant in north Morristown last night.

Pamela Darlene Goins, 50, is the owner of the Gilbert Street home searched.  She was arrested as a result of the narcotics found during the search and charged with Possession of Schedule II (cocaine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Aiding and Abetting for assiting her son, who was wanted for unrelated charges, in avoiding police . 

Janae Elise McCullough, 26, the daughter of Ms. Goins was arrested as a result of the narcotics found during the search and charged with Possession of Schedule II (cocaine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Schedule VI (marijuana).

The search warrant was a result of several weeks of investigation conducted by officers with the MPD.  Drugs found at the residence at 339 Gilbert Street were 12.9 grams of cocaine, 5.7 grams of marijuana as well as firearm ammunition and other paraphernalia consistent with the illegal sale of narcotics.  Officers also confiscated perscription drugs which were not prescribed to the home owner or resident.

 

Goin’s son, Jawaan McCullough was apprehended by officers during a traffic stop last night.  In addition to his previous charges, he was charged with Evading Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

 

Both Goins and her children remain jailed in Hamblen County.  Court dates are still pending.
