MPD TO USE NEW INTERACTION SURVEY

The Morristown Police Department (MPD) has begun a new tool for the community to provide feedback to our department.

We will be sending out text message surveys after certain types of interactions with 911 and the department. Each survey will be just a few questions about how satisfied you are and asking for feedback. Citizens may receive the survey a few hours up to a few days after the interaction. Your feedback is important to us and we ask that you take a few moments to let us know how we are doing. We will use this information to provide feedback to officers and to improve our service delivery. Not everyone will receive a survey and residents that do not want to participate can simply not respond.

The number the survey will come from is 844-508-1199. This number is set aside specifically for survey responses and cannot be used to report any type of emergency, criminal activity or make formal complaint with the department.  The MPD will never text you to ask for personal information or payment of any type.
