Morristown Regional Airport Terminal The Morristown Community has valued the importance of General Aviation from the early 1950s. In 1953 a grass  strip, small maintenance hanger and office structure sat at  this site. The first paved runway was completed in 1958.  The first professional terminal building was dedicated in  1968. Morristown has been the beneficiary of several  other improvements funded by federal, state, and local  dollars since.
Today the importance of general aviation is even greater.  Morristown Regional Airport and the Evelyn Bryan Johnson Terminal is the front door to Morristown. This door opens our community to a world of business opportunity, development, and employment.
